According to the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC), the Fixed-cutter bit classification composed of four characters that designate:
- Body material.
- Cutter density.
- Cutter size or type.
- Bit profile
All of our Drill bits are fit for API standard and used in the drilling Industry.
The PDC drill bits size 3~22inch with 3~9Blades are available. And different classification cutter are optional according to your budget .

Drill Bit PDC Cutters
Cutters made of Polycrystalline Diamond Composite (PDC) are a drill bit's primary point of contact. PDC bits primarily chop the rock out of the way.
The PDC cutters operate in a highly difficult environment with frequent heating and cooling of the well.
PDC cutters with greater thermal stability and less thermal deterioration typically have higher ROP and stronger wear resistance. Therefore, the cutter needs to be optimized.
Drill Bit Nozzles
The Polycrystalline Diamond Composite (PDC) cutters are kept cold and the cutting zone is cleared by drill bit nozzles.
The positioning of these nozzles and the angle at which they are set have a significant impact on how effectively the drill bit operates.
Additionally, fluid channels work in conjunction with nozzle location to enhance cuttings removal.
Steel Body PDC Bits
The antithesis of a matrix body is a steel body. Although it is softer and lacking protective features, it is capable of withstanding severe impact loads. Steel bit bodies provide a high level of impact resistance due to the strength and ductility of steel.
Matrix bodies are significantly weaker than steel bodies.
Steel bits have the advantage of being easily rebuilt multiple times due to the ease with which worn or damaged cutters can be swapped out. Operators who operate in low-cost drilling environments will particularly benefit from this.
In contrast to roller cones, polycrystalline diamond compact (PDC) drill bits have a single, non-moving body. In consolidated formations, the bit can operate at faster rotation rates because the fixed-cutters efficiently shred the rock.

The steel materials of PDC Drill Bit is AISI 4145H alloy structural steel .
AISI 4145H alloy structural steel: This is a steel specifically used for oil drilling tools, especially for the manufacture of heavy-duty drill pipes. AISI 4145H steel has good wear resistance and toughness, can withstand high pressure and high temperature environments, and is suitable for deep and ultra-deep well drilling operations45.

Why choose PDC Drill Bit
PDC bits have the fixed blades with large, hard, abrasion-resistant cutters manufactured from a boned mass of microcrystalline synthetic diamonds and designed to excavate hole by shearing the formation while tricone insert bit works by crushing it.
Softer the formation and homogenous smaller the number of blades and bigger the size of the PDC cutters.
They drill very fast in soft to moderately hard formations as Sand, Shale, Clay and Siltstone.
PDC bits have the advantage that they last longer- you can usually drill shoe to shoe, eliminating tripping, and can often be rerun (with or without refurbishment) on subsequent wells, reducing the cost per foot if you have a number of wells to drill.
The PDC bit is now almost the default choice unless you can't use a PDC bit: really plastic, sticky formations or really hard formations (and PDC technology is encroaching into these areas with depth of cut limiters and the like).
